The main idea of this project is to detect COVID-19 and pneumonia and discriminate between them. COVID-19 is an infectious disease that mainly affects lungs. Pneumonia is also an infection that causes inflammation in the air sacs in lungs. COVID-19 and pneumonia have similar symptoms in lungs as breathing problems that appear in CT as ground-glass opacity (GGO). For discrimination between them, we are using a dataset that consists of CT images of three classes (COVID-19, Pneumonia, Normal lungs), for determining the severity of each of them, we are using K-means clustering. And for COVID-19 detection we will use a dataset which contain 6 blood tests and PCR for COVID-19 and NON-COVID-19 patients. By using deep learning techniques, which will facilitate diagnosing these diseases efficiently and in a shorter time, it is expected to provide better results compared to other techniques. The Convolutional Neural Networks model (CNN) is proposed to be used in differentiating between these two diseases and get better results. It is considered a high sensitivity model to characterize and diagnose COVID-19 infections.
THE PURPOSE OF SOFTWARE DESIGN DOCUMENT (SDD) IS TO DESCRIBE THE ARCHITECTURE AND DESIGN OF THIS SYSTEM THAT HELPS IN IMPLEMENTING THE SOFTWARE. THE AIM OF THIS SOFTWARE DESIGN IS TO TRANSLATE THE SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS INTO SOFTWARE INTERFACES AND COMPONENTS AND DATA FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION. THIS DOCUMENT WILL DESCRIBE THE AIM OF THE SYSTEM AND ITS FUNCTIONALITIES. IT HELPS TO ENSURE THAT THE FINAL SOFTWARE MEETS THE REQUIREMENTS OF THE USER.
THE SCOPE OF THIS DOCUMENT CONCERNS ABOUT SPECIFYING AND ANALYZING THE SOFTWARE DESIGN TO BE DEVELOPED. IT’S A GUIDELINE FOR IMPLEMENTATION. IT CONTAINS ALL THE REQUIRED INFORMATION TO WRITE A CODE. IT SHOULD DEFINE ALL SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE THAT HELPS IN PROGRAMMING BY GIVING DETAILS OF THIS PROJECT AND HOW IT’S GOING TO WORK. IT TARGETS PNEUMONIA AND COVID-19 PATIENTS WHICH SPREADS QUICKLY AND MAKE A HUGE NUMBERS AROUND THE WHOLE WORLD IN NO TIME.
THIS DOCUMENT CLARIFIES OUR SYSTEM AND HELPS IN IMPLEMENTATION BY SOME DESIGN PATTERNS THAT HAVE DETAILED FEATURE SPECIFICATIONS TO CLARIFY THE SYSTEM SUCH AS A CLASS DIAGRAM THAT SHOWS CLASSES OF THE SYSTEM AND THE RELATIONS BETWEEN THEM TO MAKE THE IMPLEMENTATION EASIER. ALSO, THIS DOCUMENT HAS THE MAIN FUNCTIONS OF THE SYSTEM AND WHO WILL INTERACT WITH THIS SYSTEM AND THE SEQUENCE THAT THE USER HAS TO USE THIS SYSTEM SO THAT HELPS IN IMPLEMENTATION FOR NOW.

THE STAKEHOLDERS OF THIS DOCUMENTS ARE THE DEVELOPMENT TEAM OF THE SOFTWARE. IT WILL BE USED BY THEM TO IMPLEMENT THE PROJECT.
