Abstract
In the age of digital education, the need for innovative learning tools is on the rise. This Platform explores the development and functionality of a Smart Tutoring Platform, a versatile platform that accommodates both textual and video-based learning materials. This Platform incorporates a chatbot for textual content, offering real-time assistance, generating flashcards and generating question banks to aid in knowledge and attention retention. For video content, the app automatically trims and summarizes lectures, indexing key points, and provides a question-based review.
System Objectives
1. Accept the addition and processing of any type of digital material that can contain valuable or important information for the student who uploaded it.
2. Generate easy-to-understand content in many forms to ensure students can learn and grasp the information at a pace that suits them.
3. Generate the useful content from the uploaded content with minimal processing time.
4. Measure the students’ performance and adjust the difficulty of the tests and generate content accordingly to help match their pace, increasing effectiveness.
5. Provide an intuitive and user-friendly interface to enhance the system’s appeal and overall experience, aiming to increase user adoption.
6. Users should be able to access the content that has been generated from their uploaded material at any time and group it with other content that fits under the same topic.
System Scope
1. The platform will process the uploaded materials to extract information and enable effective searching and retrieval of the content.
2. A Chatbot feature that allows students to interact with an AI-based assistant: students can ask questions, seek clarification on specific information, and obtain additional information related to the study material, generating question banks and quizzes based on the uploaded materials. This feature is designed to offer students valuable supplementary practice and assessment resources based on the student’s level, as well as provide teachers with a wide range of carefully crafted questions that can be utilized when creating exams.
3. Flashcard feature: The system should process the materials and generate flashcards
4. the capability to extract text and audio from uploaded videos and present it in a clear and easily readable format. This valuable feature enables students to access video content in a textual form, enhancing their comprehension and improving accessibility. Additionally, if students have any questions about the content, the Chatbot will be available to provide informative responses.
5. automatic detection and removing periods of silence in uploaded videos. This process aims to streamline video content and improve the overall viewing experience for students.”
