Project Abstract

Orthodontic diagnosis and treatment planning require accurate analysis of facial soft-tissue landmarks, measurements, and facial proportions. Traditional manual analysis is time-consuming and may lead to inconsistencies between clinicians. This project presents an AI-powered orthodontic analysis system designed to assist dentists and orthodontists in detecting facial landmarks and analyzing facial measurements from patient facial images.The system allows doctors to upload front and side facial photographs of patients through a secure web platform. A deep learning model automatically detects facial landmarks and generates visual overlays, facial measurements, and angle analysis to support clinical evaluation.The platform also generates detailed reports containing landmark visualizations and analysis results.In addition to clinic-based uploads by doctors, the system supports remote patient follow-up through secure doctor-generated upload links or codes. Patients can upload progress images from home without creating accounts, allowing doctors to review patient progress remotely and provide comments or feedback directly through the system.The platform is designed using a doctor-centered workflow to improve clinical efficiency,support treatment monitoring, and enhance patient follow-up management while maintaining secure storage and organized patient case history.
